The Simpsons Makes Its Debut in Rocket League: Unfortunately Not the Car You're Dreaming Of

It was previously announced that the iconic animated series was collaborating with Fortnite, but that's not the only place where enthusiasts can experience the universe of Springfield. The beloved show is also making its way to Rocket League, bringing along an vehicle customization option that will also be usable in Fortnite. However, whether players will truly desire to use it is another question, as there's only one Springfield car the community is itching to get behind the wheel of, and this isn't it.

What Fans Really Want

Although most gamers would undoubtedly love to face off behind the wheel of The Homer—the famously flawed automobile the patriarch designed himself in the classic episode "the one where he meets Herb"—regrettably, that isn't what players are receiving. We aren't even getting the massive SUV, the enormous truck featured in the tenth season. Instead, players are getting the family's standard beat-up sedan, which has been in the family since the show's early days. Though this particular car has accumulated plenty of miles, it stands as an recognizable symbol of the show. And for players who pay attention to the game's vehicle dimensions, the trusty sedan uses the same hitbox as the Dominus body type.
